Welcome to the gallery. I’m Nisey.
Mom, veteran, a holistic health grad, high school media volunteer and current film student. Highly introverted, contrary to the perception of your traditional photographer. I’m usually locked in, and engaged less. I’m sort of a creative too .. 8 years now on the socials and have manage to build an amazing *notable supportive following and community.
Spent 21 years in boots, a couple of combat tours, and a few unique experience floated me right into holistic health and art therapy; a need to find my center again, eventually studied and obtained a Complementary Alternative Health and Healing degree — did you know actively creating art can actually lower your blood pressure? Science says yes so why not level art + healing in the name of wellness?
Held my first legit camera in 2012 a Nikon CoolPix before officially joining the Canon family in 2018 by way of the Rebel T7, shooting products for my wellness brand, Johari & Lou. I gifted that camera to my college student and upgraded to the R50 supporting and documenting my son’s sports journey. Today, I’m out here aura farming with my Canon R6 Mark2.
To be transparent, I have zero interest in creating perfect pictures. I’m here to translate energy, impressions of a moment. I look for aura, grit, the little cosmic connections found in the skies, to that mystic vibe felt in an old train station.
Current Focus:
I am currently a Film & Media student and community service / media support volunteer for youth athletics and select organizations. Presently I am not accepting bookings, but I invite you to follow the journey on on my socials @aurapointofviews / aurapovs.
